Our project DEEJAY PLUS was featured in the ‘Eventdesign’ Yearbook 2016 / 2017. Once again we were asked to accompany our friends from ‘insglück‘ musically for their new media award. For the multiple prize-winning awards (e.g. FAMAB Award ‘Best Public Event‘) we provided a special combination of event DJ and live musicians.
The task we were set by the agency ‘insglück’:
The new media award is one of the most prestigious awards in modern marketing. The challenge: a high-quality stage production is needed to impress the audience that works day to day with professionalists aiming for the most creative solutions.
The idea
We leave the more classic idea of an award ceremony behind and surprise the audience by taking a new path that combines entertainment and appreciation at the highest stage. The idea: Creative Late Night. We stage an award ceremony as a real Late Night Show with the whole studio set-up, the obligatory mugs, a warm-up act and a late night band. And, of course, a born presenter that knows how to take the show to the next level: Katrin Bauerfeind.
But we’re not done yet! The highlight: we surprise the winners of each category with different, astonishing show-elements: elaborately produced media with live actions that are sure to thrill the guests. No fear of any provocation or trashy comments.
During the ceremony, we set DEEJAY PLUS up as the typical late night band: constantly on stage to support the presenter. Obviously, the team took over the big aftershow party and celebrated until the early hours of the morning.
